“The hardest part about starting a Main Street program is convincing the community that they deserve more.”
– Brittney Hoszkiw, Michigan Main Street Center
What is the Ripple Effect?
The Ripple Effect is a citizens action group dedicated to creating a more vibrant, inviting and visually appealing downtown where residents enjoy spending their leisure time and businesses prosper. We aim to accomplish this goal by teaming up with ambitious and positive volunteers who are willing to offer time, materials, ideas and/or talents in an effort to beautify downtown Wayne.
Get involved!
Please consider attending a meeting to learn more or volunteer to help! We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:o0 p.m. at the Wayne Public Library. Check Facebook.com/waynerippleeffect.com for updates

Read about the Wayne Ripple Effect on Metro Mode:
We are in the process of applying to become a Michigan Main Street Community so that we can utilize their proven methods for downtown revitalization.
This volunteer group welcomes any and all volunteers with only one simple request… bring a positive attitude. As Winston Churchill once said, “For myself I am an optimist- it does not seem to be much use being anything else.”
Get involved and truly make a difference in your community.
Let’s make a difference….. TOGETHER!
Active residents and business owners are also encouraged to attend all of the City Council meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 8pm at City Hall 3355 S. Wayne Road.
